Obama's hip hopping

WE all know BARACK OBAMA is partial to a little JAY-Z.
The music mogul's missus BEYONCE even sang at Obama's inauguration ball.

But I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Mr Prez has been updating his playlist lately, and it includes some great artists.

He tells Rolling Stone magazine: "Thanks to REGGIE [Love, his personal aide], my rap palate has greatly improved.

"Jay-Z used to be sort of what predominated, but now I've got a little NAS and a little LIL WAYNE and some other stuff, but I would not claim to be an expert.

"MALIA and SASHA are now getting old enough to where they start hipping me to things.

At nine and 12, I'm guessing some JUSTIN BIEBER has crept in there.

He adds: "Music is still a great source of joy and occasional solace in the midst of what can be some difficult days."

During the 2008 election campaign, Obama's playlist included STEVIE WONDER, BOB DYLAN and the ROLLING STONES.

What a man. Somehow I can't see DAVID CAMERON getting down to Lil Wayne.
